Robert Rinfret,
Director, Hardware/Software Development
Robert Rinfret is responsible for the maintenance and development of Iridian's equipment and software for the deposition and characterization of thin film filters. Robert brings many years of metrology expertise to Iridian. Throughout his career, Robert's main focus has been the development of novel procedures to improve the uncertainty of experimental characterization and the development of graphical user interfaces and instrument communications to ease the acquisition of data. Prior to joining Iridian, Robert worked at the National Research Council and also had several years' experience as an educator.
Robert obtained his B.Sc. Honours Physics from Carleton University in 1986 and completed all course work for a M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics.
