Iridian Announces its New Family of Ultra Steep Short Pass Filters for Raman Spectroscopy
Improved access to the anti-stokes spectrum

Iridian Spectral Technologies Ltd, a leading global supplier of optical filters for the telecommunications and optical spectroscopy markets today announced the availability for immediate delivery its family of SPF (Short Pass Filters) with the same exceptional performance as its Ultra steep LPF ( Long Pass filter) line.
The SPF product line currently includes the four laser lines at 514.5, 532, 633 and 785 nanometers with a tight edge steepness of <80 cm-1. The operating wavelength range covers from 350-1100nm. The pass-band ripple is < +/- 2%. Laser line blocking is > OD6 .
Iridian is a specialist in Raman filter technology and has developed the new family of edge filters in response to customer need for better access to signal near the laser line . The filters meet MIL specifications for environmental testing and mechanical durability. They are also RoHS compliant.
These SPF filters allow access to the anti-Stokes spectrum much closer to the laser line than was previously possible.
