Jason Palidwar
Senior Director, Global Space and Defence – Material Science Solutions
Jason joined the Iridian team in 2006 with a broad industrial background including product management of optical communications filters. Jason manages customer needs for filters and optics for space applications (satellite lasercom and Earth observation) as Senior Director of the Global Space and Defense business line in the Materials Science Solutions group of IDEX Corporation, and is still in close contact with Iridian’s core commercial team. Previously he supported other specialty product lines such as the entertainment sector (3D glasses) and managed marketing activities for all of Iridian’s optical filter capabilities.

Claude Montcalm
Product Manager (Aerospace & Specialty Optics) -Material Science Solutions
Claude joined Iridian in 2007, holding various R&D and engineering roles, where he developed deposition and metrology processes for near-UV to mid- and long-wave IR product lines. Claude later led a team of engineers introducing new filter products, especially for space applications. Joining the sales and marketing team of Iridian helped to leverage his technical expertise to support customers.

Yongbao Xin
Product Group Manager (Telecom)
Yongbao joined the Iridian team in 2010 with a Ph.D. in Physics and 20+ years industrial experience in photonics development and applications. He supports optical filter applications and customer solutions in Telecommunications. He also involves in optical filter applications and solutions in imaging, sending, spectroscopy, and biomedical markets. Yongbao speaks both Chinese and English.
